Tarte Limited Edition Empower Flower Amazonian Clay Collector’s Palette ($42)

As you can see this palette is very long and slim - I would have preferred it to be chubbier (just thinking in terms of travel). It's made out of a thin cardboard and has a nice mirror surrounded by a floral design. I like the concept around this palette - a good amount of eye shadows (8), 2 blushes, and a bronzer. I only get use out of the middle blush (Empowering) while the other two (Trustworthy & Park Ave Princess) are more like contour/bronzer shades for me.

I don't think that these shades would show up on darker skin tones, which limits the amount of people reaching for this palette. The highlight of this palette for me is the eye shadows. The pots are a little hard to get into since they are pretty deep but they perform amazingly! They are pigmented and I had no trouble blending them together. They also lasted a pretty long time on my oily lids.

I do think there's a lot of value in this palette if you're looking for bronzing shades. I was hoping to use both blushes but I am really enjoying the eye shadows so I don't regret purchasing at all!
